Basic principles of sustainable development of RIDNE

RIDNE has five core principles of sustainable development, which are directly reflected in the five sustainable development themes identified within FuturePlus. They are described below. Each theme contains sustainability indicators that allow us to measure, monitor, improve and report on the consortium’s sustainability progress and ambitions.

Our vision

RIDNE is the largest consortium of food manufacturers in Ukraine, created to implement common goals and visions between members and consolidate agricultural enterprises for the purpose of stable and effective implementation of humanitarian aid programs.

Our vision is based on the principle of win-win cooperation, where our achievements and experience are the result of the merits of each member of the consortium.

Our mission

We aim to create a single program of sustainable production for our farmers and food factories, implemented in partnership with the international organizations with which we work.

Our mission is not only to provide Ukraine and Ukrainians with food security during the conflict, but to implement a program to support farmers and empower citizens by creating jobs and modernizing production facilities. Our goal is to be a role model for other agricultural models in Ukraine, introducing sustainable farming and production methods.

Our values

The main principles of Ridne are quality, efficiency, flexibility and the use of sustainable development for Ukrainian-made products and raw materials. As we continue to work with international organizations and foundations, we recognize the importance of working with partners who share these common values.

The consortium is an association of small and medium-sized Ukrainian businesses that have united for greater development despite the war and troubles in the Ukrainian economy

We prepare food parcels at our warehouses/logistics hubs and ensure delivery on time and under tight schedule despite constant turbulence due to infrastructure damage.

We currently produce and supply about 300,000.00 units of each food item per month for humanitarian needs and programs alone.

We have a special department that analyzes the nutrition of the programs and offers a balanced food parcel in relation to each social category.

“IMPACT REPORT” Ridne Food Consortium June 2024.

The Ridne Food consortium unites 80 small and medium-sized Ukrainian farmers and 11 food factories. We united at the start of a full-scale Russian invasion, March 2022. Our strength is unity.

Our goal is the food security of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. Our Consortium unites the production of cereals, flour mills, a meat cannery, a producer of canned vegetables, factories for the production of canned fish, pasta and sunflower oil, and dairy production.

Our factories operate under conditions of war, humanitarian, economic and energy crisis and continue to produce quality simple and cheap food despite the war.

We unite leaders in every segment of food production, i.e. companies represented in all the highest quality Ukrainian grocery stores.

We coordinate the strategy of entering new international food markets. We participate in international food exhibitions.

The “Ridne” consortium was created to consolidate food producers and agricultural companies in terms of quality, efficiency and effective implementation of humanitarian food aid programs.

We cooperate with international humanitarian organizations and international foundations.

The philosophy of the consortium is not only to provide citizens with food products. We created new jobs in rural areas of Ukraine. We have work programs for internally displaced persons. The factories of our Consortium pay taxes and support local communities and the Ukrainian economy.

We have united to continue to strengthen the supply of the front and offer the necessary resources to Ukrainians who have suffered from the aggression of the Russian Federation. In this matter, the help of foreign partners plays an important role for us. Our Consortium has a desire to work and develop the Ukrainian economy.
