Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how RIDNE (“RIDNE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit ridne.com.ua (the “Website”) or contact us. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, transparently and securely.
Who we are
RIDNE is a Ukrainian humanitarian food consortium that turns programme budgets into Ukrainian production capacity and delivers food security to vulnerable communities.
The data controller responsible for your personal data is LLC "RIDNE FOOD FACTORIES" (ТОВ "РІДНЕ ФУД ФЕКТОРІЗ"), registration code (EDRPOU): 45686995, registered address: 11B Ivana Mazepy Street, Kyiv, 01010, Ukraine. You can reach us at info@ridne.com.ua for any question about this policy or your personal data.
What data we collect
We collect only the data we need to respond to you and to run the Website:
- Information you give us – when you fill in a form or write to us (for example a partnership or funding enquiry), we collect your name, work email, organisation and the content of your message.
- Technical and usage data – when you visit the Website, we automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring source and similar analytics data, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Correspondence – if you email or message us, we keep a record of that correspondence.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (such as health, political or religious information). Please do not include such data in messages to us.
How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- respond to your enquiries and manage our communication and cooperation with you;
- operate, maintain and improve the Website and understand how it is used;
- keep records for administrative, reporting and legal-compliance purposes;
- protect the security and integrity of the Website.
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent – for non-essential cookies and analytics, and where you voluntarily send us your details.
- Legitimate interests – to respond to enquiries, run and secure the Website, and communicate with partners, provided your rights do not override those interests.
- Legal obligation – where we must retain or disclose data to comply with the law.
Cookies and analytics
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to function and to measure usage. Essential cookies are needed for the site to work; analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics) help us understand traffic and improve content, and are set only with your consent through our cookie banner.
You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Website works.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers (processors) who help us run the Website and communicate – for example our hosting and website platform (Webflow), analytics providers, and email services – acting on our instructions under appropriate agreements;
- Authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside Ukraine or the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above – typically for the duration of our correspondence or relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and administrative requirements – after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@ridne.com.ua. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
How we protect your data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
