About this facility
Factory Zdorovo has produced canned meat in Chernihiv since 2004 – meat-and-vegetable preserves, pâtés, and ready-made first and second courses. Production is certified to ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and in 2017 the company commissioned a dedicated complex with capacity of up to 150,000 cans per day. Since 2012 it has also run private-label canned meat for ATB-Market, Silpo and Auchan.
The plant's recent history tracks the war directly. In early March 2022 it stopped work under siege and shelling of Chernihiv, handing remaining stock and raw materials to the Armed Forces and to residents of the blockaded city. Production resumed in April 2022, after the region was liberated. Since October 2022 the factory has also made ready meals in retort pouches to NATO standards for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service.
Volunteer supplies of canned goods to Ukraine's defenders have run since 2014.
