Ukrainian Innovation Feeding the World

The RIDNE consortium has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Institute of Climate-Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS) — a partner with many years of experience developing new agricultural technologies.

The institute's history is itself a story of resilience. It previously operated in Kherson, but after its facilities were destroyed during the occupation, the team of scientists resumed work in Odesa, continuing their mission of building solutions for the future.

Seeds for Extreme Climates

As part of the partnership with RIDNE, a project is being launched to develop a fundamentally new type of Ukrainian seed capable of germinating under extreme climate conditions.

These seeds are being developed not only for Ukraine's agricultural sector, but also for African countries facing food shortages driven by climate change. The project aims not merely at a scientific breakthrough, but at making a real contribution to overcoming global hunger.

Ukrainian land, knowledge, and technology can become part of the solution that helps thousands of communities around the world gain stable access to food.
